Fulton Hornets DIG GOLD Volleyball Game 2022: Fulton v. Mexico

Fulton Hornets are digging deep to stop childhood cancer in honor of "All the Kids" fighting cancer.

Funds raised from Hornet fans at the Dig Gold game will go directly to the family of Ezra Schaefer, a 2nd grader at Bush Elementary currently battling rhabdomyosarcoma.

Funds raised from Bulldog fans will go directly to a special Mexico family with a young Hero in the Fight. (Family name is private at this time.)

The t-shirt design represents rival schools uniting against one cause impacting both communities: childhood cancer.

T-shirts are $20 each and are available in youth and adult sizes.

Noteworthy Facts:

* September is childhood cancer awareness month.

*Gold is the ribbon color for childhood cancer.

* Less than 4% of all National Cancer Institute research funding is designating for pediatric cancer, leaving heroes, like Ezra and Sam, facing treatments that are 30-40 years old. Modern medicine does not generally apply to childhood cancer.
